Electrical Engineer

Electrical Engineer- Security Clearance Required
 
Vetegrity manages and directs the facility engineering design, construction & renovation, maintenance programs, and raised floor infrastructure for mission-critical DoD data centers.
 
Position Overview:
  • Provides electrical engineering assistance for technical reviews and authorized service interruption (ASI) tracking
  • Provides coordination for all projects and maintenance activities, electrical distribution load analysis, and commissioning coordination, oversight, and duties
  • Assists the Government project managers in transitioning and closing out of all projects from the project team to the maintenance team and provides maintenance recommendations for those multiple types of electrical systems
  • Provides recommendations and reviews comments to the Government representative regarding improvements to energy efficiency to drive down the Power Usage Effectiveness (PUE) of the data centers in the maintenance and operations of existing systems
  • Drafts SOW/PWS, cost estimates and acquisition package requirements for recommendations approved by the Government and review whole scale upgrades with a positive Return on Investment (ROI)
  • Must be able to work in a small team environment
 
Minimum Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering from an ABET accredited college or university
  • 5 years of experience in providing electrical engineering to support power, cooling and lighting installation or maintenance for critical facilities
  • Experience with commissioning or operation and maintenance programs
  • Experience with computerized maintenance management system (CMMS)
  • Must be proficient with office automation software (MS Office, AutoCAD)
  • Professional Engineering License preferred
  • Secret Security Clearance
