At Vetegrity, we are adding a Junior Technical Recruiter to our Federal/DoD division office in Odenton, MD. We are seeking an enthusiastic candidate with the ability to self-start and maintain motivation, take a task and run with it, and remain flexible to shifting priorities.
Position Overview:
- Sources, contacts, and screens candidates across a variety of technical disciplines for subcontractor openings
- Schedules interviews and extends offer letters to candidates
- Develops innovative sourcing techniques and recruiting strategies to identify niche candidates
- Develops a pipeline of qualified candidates and maintains continuous contact for future hiring needs
- Creates job descriptions based on hiring needs of multiple subcontracts
- Maintains detailed notes in the Candidate Applicant Tracking System
- Works with Staffing Managers to determine program staffing needs to source top talent
- Attends meetings to update leadership on recruiting status
- Performs additional administrative duties as assigned
Minimum Qualifications:
- 1-3 years of recruiting experience, preferably supporting the Intelligence Community or Department of Defense
- Must have strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work both independently and with a team
- Solid verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to organize and manage multiple tasks under shifting priorities
- Must be U.S. citizen
